Out of the box this thing looks stunning and feels lighter than one would think, also incredibly thin which is a plus if your thinking about wall mounting it or transport. Setup and the menus were fluent and simple, with the ability to really dig deep in there to get it all fine tuned and setup for your own personalization and liking.

Everything about this television really is great, I would comment on the sound but in all fairness I haven’t really used it as I instantly set it up to my Samsung 5.1 home theater system I got a while back, but if all the other Samsung ln40a550 are reputable, then it should sound great with a little adjustment (oh yah and there is tons of ways to tweak your picture to your liking and environment, a major plus and much more control than other televisions I’ve used) Got to say if you’re looking to buy the Samsung ln40a550 or any Samsung a550 television… GO FOR IT – BEST PRICES – BEST QUALITY – BEST DECISION FOLKS!
